IBOC Enclosures provides a contoured body with flush cover screws and is designed for use as instrumentation housings, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring boxes and as housings for electrical controls.

The New PC and GR lines include both solid and transparent covers with stainless steel screw (PC) and plastic screw (GR) options, as well as certain sizes with raised cover options Enclosures with holes and plugs, for flexible cable or tubing insertions, are also available. Molded internal pads offer din rail mounting options and form fitted gaskets offers watertight and dust free protection.

IP 65 Circuit Breaker Enclosures are also available as are steel mounting plates and mounting feet accessories.

Enclosure Ratings
In order to assist in the selection of and enclosure, rating classifications have been established by the National Electrical Manufactures Association (NEMA). These ratings identify the ability of the enclosure to provide a degree of protection against incidental contact with the enclosed equipment and protection to the enclosed equipment from environmental elements such as dirt, dust, water and other corrosive agents. These ratings are intended to be used only as a guide. To insure a proper choice, it is recommended that an assessment of the application and environment be made before selection of product.

NEMA 3. Indoor or outdoor use to provide a degree of protection against falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow and windblown dust; and that will be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure.

NEMA 3R. Indoor or outdoor use to provide a degree of protection against falling dirt, rain, sleet and show; and that will be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure.

NEMA 4. Indoor our outdoor use to provide a degree of protection against falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow, windblown dust, splashing water, hose-directed water and corrosion: and that will be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure.

International Standards IP Protection.

IP44. Protection against solid bodies larger than 1 mm (tools, wires) and against water splashing from a hose from all directions.

IP55. Protection against dust (no harmful deposits) and against water sprayed from a hose in all directions.

IP56. Protection against dust and water projections similar to sea wave splashes.

IP65. Complete protection against dust and against water sprayed from a hose from all directions.
